145J: Young girl visits people in the past

I read a book in the late 60s or early 70s about a young girl that went to live with someone (perhaps aunts). She went out for a walk and to a house down the street where she met a family that had children near her age. She visited them and but came to find out they were actually from the past

It sounds like an Anne Lindbergh title: Either The Hunky Dory Dairy or one of the Pineapple Place books. Even if it’s not, they’re great books!

I’m wondering if this book could be Fog Magic by Julia Sauer. There’s a synopsis of it at Amazon. I read it in the 60’s, but they have reprinted a few times since it was first published.
