Christian children’s book about a boy who finds a machine that lets him make a mini world and 2 beings. They have 4 arms each and one jumps off the edge of the world and the boy saves him. He shrinks himself to tell the being but they don’t believe him and throw him over thinking he will be saved to.
This boy encounters this machine in some sort of lab, and makes 2 little creatures. He gives them 4 arms each because he feels like he never has enough. Things are fine until one falls off the edge of the little world. The boy catches him and puts him back on the platform. The little creature then thinks it’s fun to jump off, so he keeps doing it; knowing he will be saved by some giant unknown thing. But the boy can’t watch them all the time, so he wants the creature to stop jumping. So he sends down a big wooden sign that says not to jump. The girl creature misunderstands the sign and thinks the “giant boy” wants her to carry the sign around and puts it on her back. After seeing this, the boy sends another sign to tell her not to carry the big sign. She misunderstands that too and starts carrying that sign as well. So now the girl creature is crushing herself with the weight of the sign, and the boy creature is still jumping off the edge. So, the boy decides to shrink himself to go down and tell the 2 creatures what he meant. When he gets there, the creatures don’t believe that he is the giant boy from the sky and end up throwing him off the side of the world, thinking he’ll come back but just be scared into not bothering them anymore. Obviously, the boy can’t come back though, since he was the giant boy in the sky who was saving the creatures as they jumped.
