Madeline ffitch is the author of the short story collection Valparaiso, Round the Horn and the novel Stay and Fight, a finalist for the PEN/Hemingway Award, the Lambda Literary Award for Lesbian Fiction, the Washington State Book Award, the LA Times Book Award, and was the 2023 Ohio Center for the Book pick for the National Book Festival. Madeline has been awarded two O. Henry prizes, and chosen for the 2024 Best American Short Stories anthology.
Madeline lives in the hills of Appalachian Ohio with her two children.
Margaret Killjoy is an author and anarchist with a long history of itinerancy who currently calls Appalachia home. When she’s not writing, she can be found organizing to end hierarchy, crafting, or complaining about being old despite not being old at all. She is the author of several novels and the Danielle Cain series for Tor.com Publishing.

Kyle Winkler is an Associate Professor of English at Kent State University at Tuscarawas. He received a Ph.D. in Composition and Rhetoric from the University of Pittsburgh and an MFA from Washington University in St. Louis.
