Loganberry Books is proud to present works of art by Elisa Albrecht as part of our ongoing, monthly Annex Gallery artists series. Join us on Wednesday 3/4 from 6pm to 8pm for the celebratory opening of this month's show, with live music by the Cle-Oh Jazz Trio and light refreshments.

"These works depict surrealistic spaces born from abstract ink impressions on paper, layered washes, and repetitive mark making. Footprints of imagined civilizations' culture and technology, building off one another through the passage of time. " -Elisa Albrecht

N.O.B.S. Forums

In 2026, we will convene the 40th Akron Antiquarian Book & Paper Show, and we'll also celebrate what would be the 100th birthday of Frank Klein, one of the founding members of NOBS and the Akron show. Join N.O.B.S. in February for a very special Forum as we welcome Andrea Klein and other early members to share the origin story of this organization of bibliophilic superheroes.

This month we'll meet via Zoom ONLY. Come with your own reminiscences of the early days of NOBS, or just sit back and enjoy the stories.

Closing Reception: Collaborative Toni Morrison Mural by DAYZWHUN

Join us for a closing reception and viewing of DAYZWHUN’s finished Toni Morrison mural!

As you may already know, legendary author Toni Morrison is from our neck of the woods -- she was born in Lorain, Ohio! In celebration of this literary master and her roots in our own backyard, Loganberry Books (in coordination with Literary Cleveland) has created a mural project to honor her legacy.

Talented local muralist DAYZWHUN has laid out a Toni Morrison themed, 9’ square mural and started painting it. The not-yet-painted areas of the mural are divided into equally sized sections, each of which will be painted by another local Black artist (in honor of Morrison's deep roots in Black culture).

The painting artists are: Derin FletcherJerome WhiteJurnee Ta-ZionPrynce The Artist, and Zakiya Erby.

How Woke R U? Author Event with Musa al-Gharbi

Join Loganberry Books and the Cleveland State University Center for Civics, Culture and Society to welcome author Musa al-Gharbi to Cleveland at the Union Club!

"How Woke R U?" brings together scholars from across Cleveland-area universities for a wide-ranging discussion on the state of higher education today—its cultural dynamics, institutional pressures, and the debates shaping academic life.

Featuring George Dent (Case Western Reserve University), Marcus Schultz-Bergin (Cleveland State University), and Mariah Webinger (John Carroll University), the conversation will be joined by Musa al-Gharbi, author of We Have Never Been Woke (Princeton University Press, 2024).

Together, the panel will explore questions about ideology, academic culture, and the role of universities in public life—inviting thoughtful engagement rather than easy answers.

The event will include a book signing with the author, free valet parking, and a reception following the discussion. Please RSVP here!
