Loganberry Curated Reads

In 1995, when a friend wanted to send monthly book gifts to his grandchildren, but didn't want to do the work of finding and choosing the best books, we created the Loganberry Curated Reads Book Club. Two decades later, his grandchildren are getting married and we're still at it.

Every membership is catered to each individual member. Tell us the age and reading interests of the reading recipient, choose a price tier, and let us introduce the lucky one (perhaps it's you!) to some fabulous reads. We'll choose a great book, wrap it up pretty, and ship it to the recipient's door each month.

Reader's Club

Readers Club

Have questions?

Good copies of common titles. May include new paperbacks, used hardbacks and the occasional clean ex-library book of something less common. This is the most popular membership level for small children (who couldn't care less about first editions) and fiction readers (who just want a good paperback to read in bed).

Reader's Club Examples

for your toddler Sendak enthusiast:

an early but certainly used copy of In the Night Kitchen

for your juvenile fantasy aficionado:

a new paperback of Phillip Pullman's The Golden Compass

for your mystery buff father-in-law:

a book club edition of Agatha Christie's A Caribbean Mystery

for your sister the feminist artist:

an ex-library copy of Originals: American Women Artists

Have questions?

Classics and well-loved favorites, as well as new discoveries and overlooked gems. Books are in new or fine condition, but if you like obscure gems, we may occasionally include a lesser copy of something desirable and out-of-print.  This level is perfect for gift-giving and for the discriminating reader.

Bookworm Society Examples

for your toddler Sendak enthusiast:

a nice vintage hardcover of Where the Wild Things Are

for your juvenile fantasy afficianado:

a new boxed paperback set of Edward Eager's Tales of Magic

for your mystery buff father-in-law:

a nice hardback edition of Martha Grimes' The Old Silent

for your sister the feminist artist:

an out-of-print copy of Judy Chicago's Holocaust Project

Book Lover's Guild

Nice editions of award winners and perennial favorites in clean, bright copies. Out-of-print classics, illustrated editions, and fine copies with dust jackets are the norm in this membership level. For young readers, this means Newbery and Caldecott Award winners and other interesting and well known titles. For grown readers, this means fine hardback editions and illustrated volumes such as gardening and travel.

Book Lover's Guild Examples

for your toddler Sendak enthusiast:

a beautiful first edition of Outside Over There

for your juvenile fantasy aficianado:

a first edition of Madeleine L'Engle's Camilla

for your mystery buff father-in-law:
