Indira (she/they) grew up on the east side of Cleveland and currently lives in Cleveland Heights. They are a multidisciplinary writer, teaching artist, and mom to a minimally angsty teen. In the store, she is a part of the Kids' Book and Local Voices teams. For the latter, they focus on the store’s poetry open mic, Broadsides and Ephemera, the annual Author Alley event and all things centered around uplifting local writers. As a reader, she mostly enjoys reading poetry books, weird girl lit, and memoirs that remind her to call her mom. Outside of words, books, and parenting, they enjoy watching game shows and taking a little nap.
