Author Alley is our annual celebration of Cleveland's literary community and all of our local authors' accomplishments. Cleveland book lovers and aspiring writers can meet more than 60 authors from northeast Ohio and purchase their books at Loganberry Books’ 19th Annual Author Alley on August 1-2, 2026. Each day will feature an array of authors representing all genres and interests, ranging from children’s picture books and poetry to self-help and horror.
“Author Alley is one of the bookstore’s biggest annual events. Our customers love to chat with local authors, learn more about their work, and bring home a cool new read they wouldn’t have otherwise found,” said Lisa Hopps, Local Voices Manager at Loganberry Books. “If you’re a reader, or if you want to be on the Cleveland literary scene, come through!.”
Book aficionados and budding writers alike are also invited to meet-and-greet with our featured local authors at the Author Alley Reception on August 1 from 5-6:30 PM. Award winning sci-fi writer and Cleveland local Marie Vibbert will lead authors through a fast-paced Wheel of Fortune-style game where they can share enticing tidbits about their books, careers, and creative processes. Attendees can expect writing tips, networking, book browsing, and a healthy dose of fun! Light refreshments will be provided.
