LOGANBERRY LEGACY
This popular Parents Magazine Press title is always in demand at Loganberry, and it's no wonder.  The rhymes are winning and fun, and there's even a good morality dose.  It was reprinted in 2007 with new illustrations by George Booth of New Yorker fame.  While most familiar oldies that come out with new illustrations are disappointing to we who remember the original, I was pleasantly surprised by this new marriage.  Booth has a recognizable style, and it fits well here.  Both illustrations work well with the dateless rhyme.

I'm in search of a book I read to my now 20 year old daughter when she was 3 or 4.  I'm not sure of the title but one of our favorite lines in it was  "Never tease a weasel, the weasel wouldn't like it".  I'm not sure of the title.  I contacted Chinaberry and they suggested I contact you.  They said they thought the name was Never Tease a Weasel and that it was printed in 1964.  Can you help? 

I'm also interest if this author has any other children's titles.  And who owns the rights?

I have been searching for this book for a long time -- used to read it to my daughter and son when they were little - our favorite book.  They are now ages 34 and 36.

Hi  I have looked almost everywhere for a Parents Magazine Press book from the 60's titled Lennies Twenty Pennies.  Would you happen to have it or know where I might look for it?    Thanks.

Never Tease a Weasel.  I taught 3rd grade in Pampa TX and often showed the filmstrip to my classes - even took it home for my three children to enjoy.  The story is good - adding the filmstrip/sound track makes it unforgettable.

I linked here due to Artella's LinkLatte and was thrilled to see reference to this book!  As a teen, I babysat three little ones; the middle one was about four, had a generous lisp, and recited this book's chorus to me a million times: "Nef-fer theeth a weeth-oe, thith ith vewwy thoun' ad-vithe, cuth a weeth-oe wiw not wike it -- (here a great scowl and deepened voice) " -- an' teeth-ing ith-unt nithe!!!"

I would like to purchase this book as a surprise gift to my 31 year old son.  It was his favorite and it was destroyed in a flood in our basement.  I have been looking everywhere. Can you locate another one?

This was a book I used to read to my children.  Now that my grandson is here, I want to share it with him.  The book is about teasing.  "Never Tease a Weasel, not even once or twice.  A Weasel will not like it, and teasing isn't nice." 

My two boys have never seen the book but oft repeat the Never Tease a Weasel phrase.  Matter of fact, it has become a family tradition.  I'm thrilled that we'll now be able to experience the whole book.

I remember my third grade teacher playing a short film strip that was a musical adaption of this book. Anyone ever hear of this?

Jean Conder Soule, Katy's First Day. This story was one of my 30 year old daughters favorite books when she was young.  It is now one of her daughters favorite, 25 years later.  I would like to have a copy to give to my granddaughter for her 5th birthday. Katy's First Day is a story many yourng children can relate to.  Jean Conder Soule wrote with the voice of a child.  It is an excellent story line with excellent illustrations.

The phrase has always stuck with me...I have been saying it lately to my 12 year-old step daughter when she playfully teases my grandson.  We would love to have a copy of the book, since all that I can remeber about it is the phrase.
